God is working in and through Destino at Texas A&M University
by Eric Robinson

Since school began, God has done above and beyond all that we could ask or imagine. At our first meeting of the semester, we were excited to see how many people God would bring after our hard work passing out FSK's and diligently inviting Latino freshman. Last fall, we only had 8 students involved in our movement; this fall, over 80 students came to the first meeting!
Halfway through the meeting we broke up into small groups for Bible study. During the lesson on “Walk Assured” we shared the “Knowing God Personally” booklet. Over 50 Latino students heard a personal presentation of the gospel and 5 students trusted Christ for the first time. Then, on Friday, one of our student leaders went on three FSK followup appointments. By the end of the third appointment, 5 more students had trusted Christ.
All in all, 11 Latino students became believers during the first week on campus. That was more people than we had involved all of last fall! Please be praying for these new believers as they are followed up. And pray that God will continue to work in the Latino community not just here at Texas A&M, but throughout the country!
